The Events Committee exists to create fun, engaging experiences that strengthen the Masters of Trade <GREED> community. By hosting a variety of events for all skill levels, we encourage members to connect, earn rewards, learn new content, and make lasting memories together.

Host daily FC events

From treasure maps and mount farms to raids, tutorials, and casual hangouts, we provide activities for members of every experience level.

Help members succeed

We organize opportunities for members to earn gil, mounts, achievements, FC points, and experience while learning new content in a welcoming environment.

Our events bring members together, helping create friendships, strengthen teamwork, and keep GREED active throughout the week.

WHAT WE DON’T DO

Impromptu Events

Unscheduled or spontaneous events are handled independently by members and impromptu hosts. These events:

  • Are not listed on the official weekly schedule
  • Are not directly managed by the Events Committee

Large-Scale Special Event Planning

Major FC-widemay events extend beyond normal Events Committee responsibilities. These projects and large special projects may involve:

  • Additional committees
  • Leadership coordination
  • Cross-committee planning

Where can I find this week’s event schedule?

The official weekly schedule is posted in the Discord #bulletin-board. To stay updated:

  • Assign yourself the Weekly Events Discord role
  • Receive notifications for:
    • New schedules
    • Daily event reminders
    • Event announcements

Can I schedule my Eternal Bonding Ceremony with the FC?

Absolutely!! We love celebrating special moments with our members. If you would like your ceremony added to the official schedule:

  • Please provide at least one week of notice
  • Try to avoid the weekly FC Meeting time
  • Contact the Newsletter Committee so they can help advertise the event as well

I have an event idea but cannot host it myself. Who should I contact?

Send your idea directly to us! We are almost always available through Discord and happy to discuss:

  • Event concepts
  • Scheduling ideas
  • Community activities
  • Special event suggestions

Can I host an event that is not on the Bulletin Board?

Absolutely. We encourage members to host their own impromptu events and activities. We only ask that you:

  • Be mindful of the official schedule
  • Avoid conflicting with scheduled FC events when possible
  • Help ensure official events maintain enough attendance for successful runs

I want to host an event. How do I get involved?

Easy! Simply send a DM to a member of the committee! We are always looking for:

  • New event hosts
  • Backup hosts
  • Recurring hosts
  • One-time specialty events
