Our Mission

The Welcoming Committee exists to ensure every new, returning, and trial member of Masters of Trade <GREED>feels seen, valued, and never without direction. We are the friendly first face and a reliable point of contact for anyone who has questions, needs guidance, or simply wants to know they belong. From the moment someone joins, our commitment is to make sure no one gets lost in the crowd.

Greet every member

We reach out to all new, returning, and trial members within 24 hours through Discord and in-game.

Answer your questions

Not sure how the FC works or lost in Discord? We are your first stop for anything GREED-related.

Build community

We foster connection among members and encourage involvement in FC events and committees.

WHAT WE DON’T DO

Official Mentorship

The Welcoming Committee does not replace the FC Mentor Program. Mentorship and long-term gameplay guidance are handled separately through:

  • Approved FC mentors
  • Mentor applications
  • The official mentoring system

HR or Serious Member Issues

Those matters are forwarded directly to committee leadership or FC leadership for proper handling. If a new member expresses:

  • Serious concerns
  • Harassment issues
  • Community conflicts
  • HR-related complaints

Yes! GREED is a large and active FC, and we want members to feel:

Because of this, different greeters may periodically reach out just to:

  • Make sure everything is going smoothly

We understand the FC can feel overwhelming at first, and these check-ins are intended to help make things easier.

Can I provide feedback or suggestions to my greeter?

Absolutely! One of the committee’s goals is helping leadership understand:

  • Member concerns
  • Suggestions
  • Community feedback
  • Ways the FC can improve

Any feedback shared with greeters can be passed along to leadership for follow-up when appropriate.

Are there giveaways for new members?

Yes! GREED regularly hosts giveaways specifically for newer FC members.

Possible rewards may include:
