The Recruiting Committee exists to help Masters of Trade <GREED> continue growing by connecting with players who value friendship, community, and teamwork. Through respectful one-on-one conversations and thoughtful vetting, we help ensure every new member is a great fit while preserving the welcoming culture that makes GREED feel like home.

WHAT WE DON’T DO

Recruit from Other Free Companies

We do not poach members or actively recruit players who are already part of another FC. We believe communities should grow through respect, not competition.

Spam Recruitment Advertisements

GREED does not rely on city shout spam, overworld recruitment messages, or excessive advertising. We focus on genuine conversations and meaningful connections instead.

My friend just started the game and wants to join. Who should I contact?

Any online recruiter can assist with invitations. If no one is available, your friend can submit an FC application directly. Any Master-rank member can also help

How do referral rewards work?

Easy! If someone you know applies to GREED:

  1. Have them include your name in their application
  2. Recruiters will confirm the referral with you
  3. The applicant will go through the normal vetting process

Once confirmed, your referral will be credited appropriately.

Why doesn’t GREED use shout recruitment?

Our approach has proven very successful while avoiding the drama and annoyance commonly associated with recruitment spam. GREED’s recruiting philosophy focuses on:

  • Personal interaction
  • One-on-one communication
  • Building genuine community connections

We feel many players appreciate the more respectful and personal approach.

I want to help recruit, but I’m introverted. Is there anything I can do?

Absolutely! The Recruiting Committee provides:

If you are nervous about approaching people:
